Tina joined the civil service in 1999 after working in the meat industry. Since then she's worked in several roles including as meat inspector, enforcement and project management role, performance management and leadership roles. She joined the world of incident management in 2013, becoming Head of Incidents in 2017. She leads on the operational delivery for management of foodborne disease, and malicious tempering incidents, and says: "food safety is who I am, not just what I do!"
