Visit The Spicy Society, a group of innovative female entrepreneurs, at IFE 2024

Visit the Spicy Society on stand 155 at IFE (from 25 to 27 March) and meet five women entrepreneurs and their innovative products from condiments to oven spikes. The stand has been curated by Karen Green, business coach and author from Buyerology, who will be speaking twice at IFE on Wednesday 27 March.

She says “I thought it was a great idea to join forces and showcase these women entrepreneurs and their global products. The common thread that binds them together is they have all worked with me in some capacity to help them win big name listings including Selfridges, Burger King and Lakeland.”

Roni Bandong-McSorley from RoniB’s Kitchen will be exhibiting Award-winning Filipino products created from family and traditional recipes from the Philippines. These include banana ketchup, a sweet and tangy twist on a classic condiment; the traditional Filipino Adobo cooking sauce; Kalamansi Marmalade (Philippine Lime marmalade); Filipino Black Bean Chilli paste for coating on meat and fish and Tamarind jam made with tamarind and a splash of Tarsier gin.

Claudia Castellanos From Black Mamba will be exhibiting a range of hot chilli-based speciality foods. It is an ethical brand from Eswatini, Africa. All products are made with organically grown ingredients sourced from local small holder farmers. These include chilli sauces, pestos, and their Award-winning chilli crunch.

Black MambaKaren Prado from Chimilove will be showcasing the taste of South America in a jar! The range of plant-based stir through and marinade sauces combine high quality ingredients with spices. The range including a variety of Chimichurri sauces, spicy Aji sauces and Chimichurri and Mayonnaise.

Alexa Fernandez from Chili Maven will be showcasing the Award- winning Mexican salsa macha, a delicious condiment that is a top condiment trend for 2024. Chili Maven brings the flavour and fire of Mexican chilis and spices with their range of versatile condiments and sauces. Chili Maven will also be launching a new range of Mexican sauces that can be sampled at the show. 

Veebha Parmar from MySpike will be showing the UK’s first purpose-made vertical oven spike for use at home in the oven or on the barbecue. It distributes heat evenly resulting in perfectly cooked vegetables and meat. She has just launched mini MySpike kits for air fryers.

Talks at IFE

Karen Green will be giving a talk at IFE on Wednesday 27 March 10.30am – “Launching Speciality Foods in the UK; the Recipe For Success” on the secret ingredients for a successful brand launch in the UK grocery industry. She says “I will be talking about what these women entrepreneurs have successfully managed to do – launch their products in the UK.”

It takes place in the North Gallery Room 14, ExCeL London.

She will also be taking part in a panel discussion on “How Can AI Help Enhance Your Buyer Journey” on Wednesday 27 March at 14.45.
