IFE's new Fresh Produce Section hailed a success at 2024 event

IFE 2024, hosted at ExCeL London from 25-27 March, marked a significant milestone in the food and drink industry, particularly with the introduction of the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) Fresh Produce Section.

This year's event, a collaboration between FPC and IFE, introduced a dedicated section for fresh produce, igniting considerable interest and excitement among industry professionals.

Over the three days, the event became a hub of all that's exciting and new and innovative in the food and drink industry attracting thousands of attendees, where professionals had the opportunity to engage in invaluable networking opportunities.

FPC's Fresh Produce Section, in particular, received widespread acclaim, offering businesses a unique platform to connect with retailers and buyers from various sectors, including wholesale, foodservice, pubs, and catering.

The second day of IFE 2024 showcased an even more impressive array of premium produce and industry expertise. Notable companies participating within the fresh produce section included global giants and innovative startups such as BelOrta, Florette, Chiquita, and Dole, among others. These exhibitors represented a broad spectrum of the industry, bringing their latest products and solutions to the forefront.

Special mentions were made regarding the Spitalfields New Tenant Association, which supplied a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables for the welcome points. Additionally, the team at EFCIS was recognised for sponsoring the FPC Fresh Produce lounge, offering attendees a chance to enjoy brewed beverages in a relaxed setting.

IFE 2024 has proven not just to be a trade show but a testament to the dynamic nature of the food and drink industry, showcasing the latest trends, innovations, and solutions.
