The Fynoderee Distillery, Isle of Man launches new ‘Signature Gin’ at IFE

Craft producer, The Fynoderee Distillery is launching a ‘Signature’ Isle of Man Gin at IFE this year, a new product that will be available year-round for distribution and export to premium and independent retail.

The distillery founded in 2017, has built its previous success and reputation on creating small-batch seasonal and limited edition gins that feature locally foraged or farmed ingredients as part of a range of spirits that also includes scratch-made Rums, Vodka and Single Malt Whiskey (launching 2026). liquorice.

The new Signature Gin will allow the distillery to increase its gin production and fulfil growing export demand for a year-round gin product from the Isle of Man, a stunning independent Island nation situated at the heart of the British Isles in the middle of the Irish Sea.

Co-founder Paul Kerruish describes the new gin release: “Our Fynoderee Isle of Man Gin is a classic London Dry Gin recipe with a twist. The award-winning liquid (a result of a very popular consumer trial when released as limited edition fundraising gin for the RNLI) is juniper-forward with invigorating pine and lemon zest notes opening to herbaceous fennel and coriander with soft, spicy complexity from nutmeg, orris and cardamom.

As an Island nation we wanted to incorporate a whisper of the sea that surrounds us by including a delicate touch of sugar kelp which brings a mineral-rich umami note. The result is an exceptionally tasty and refreshing gin with wide appeal that makes for an incredible “Fyn & Tonic” - as we like to call it here on the Isle of Man”

The Fynoderee Distillery is a family owned business rooted in the Isle of Man’s rich faerie folklore and Celtic culture. The name Fynoderee comes from the mythical Manx creature featured on the label and the brand celebrates and story-tells aspects of Manx culture throughout its range of premium spirits. The eye-catching label is illustrated by acclaimed local artist Julia Ashby Smyth who has collaborated with the distillery on their labelling since it launched in 2017.

This latest label draws inspiration from the work of Archibald Knox , the internationally famed designer from the Isle of Man who historically designed for Liberty & Co. The largest ever exhibition of Knox’s work will be launching this year on the Isle of Man at The Manx Museum.

The Isle of Man is an entire nation UNESCO Biosphere and the distillery is a ‘business partner’ to the Biosphere project meaning it strives to work in an ethical, sustainable and community driven way.

The Distillery will achieve SALSA accreditation in March 2025.
