Discover cutting-edge F&B innovations by Taiwan Select at IFE 2025

The Taiwan Select Pavilion is set to make waves at the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) 2025, from 17-19 March at the ExCel London. This special occasion marks a significant opportunity for UK food and beverage professionals to discover a dynamic showcase of food products from across Taiwan. Attendees can discover an array of award-winning and certified items, including essential cooking staples, condiments, beverages, snacks, and pastries, all reflecting the richness and innovation of Taiwan’s vibrant food industry.

Jointly organised by Taiwan’s International Trade Administration and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this year’s Taiwan Select Pavilion presents an impressive selection of unique offerings from Taiwan, featuring 160 products from 88 Taiwanese companies, including ready-to-eat meal kits that combine convenience with authentic flavour, as well as a variety of delectable snacks, nutritious herbal teas, and health-conscious condiments, such as wildflower honey and naturally brewed soy sauce, underscoring the exceptional quality and marketability of Taiwanese products.

Taiwanese cuisine is a remarkable blend of rich culinary traditions and continuous innovation, making it an exciting highlight at IFE 2025. The Taiwan Select Pavilion serves as a platform to showcase the stories, craftsmanship, and commitment to sustainability that define Taiwan’s food industry. Through this exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Taiwan’s culinary heritage while gaining insight into the ethical practices that shape its products.

Attendees can look forward to an engaging programme, including a Press Conference and Opening Ceremony from 2.00 to 2:40 PM on the first day, featuring a cooking demonstration by renowned Taiwanese chef Tiffany Chang, known for her creative and adaptive approach to crafting easy-to-follow recipes. The show will spotlight classic Taiwanese dishes like beef noodle soup, guo bao, and guotie (traditional Taiwanese dumplings), to enhance appreciation for Taiwan’s cuisine and inspire guests to recreate these beloved dishes in their own kitchens.

Throughout the three-day event, six interactive happy hour tasting sessions give visitors the opportunity to sample freshly prepared products from F&B pioneers, featuring iconic dishes such as Taiwan-style crispy fried chicken and steamed buns, paired with refreshing beverages. Participants will also have the chance to win delicious snack prizes ranging from savoury spring onion-flavoured crackers to sweet floral pastries, and unique treats like bubble tea and salty egg-flavored popcorn.

Taiwanese cuisine is celebrated for its rich tapestry of flavours, influenced by indigenous, Chinese, Japanese, and Western traditions. This diversity, coupled with a commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and community support, positions Taiwan’s food industry as a leader in innovative culinary practices. Products at this year’s exhibit are armed with Taiwan domestic and prestigious international certifications and awards, including Monde Selection, ITQI, Halal Certification, Organic Certification, Clean Label, and A.A. TASTE AWARDS. Additionally, Taiwanese food producers are dedicated to promoting organic farming, eco-friendly packaging, and responsible business practices to create a positive impact on both people and the planet.

We invite everyone to visit Taiwan Select Pavilion to experience the best that the Taiwanese food industry has to offer first-hand. For more information and to register for the event, please visit this sign-up form here
