Built in 1967, The GlenAllachie is nestled at the foot of Ben Rinnesin the heart of Speyside. Although the distillery was in production for nearly 50 years, it remained relatively unknown, as its previous owners almost exclusively used the whisky produced for premium blends.
In 2017, The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited was established with the acquisition of The GlenAllachie Distillery, MacNair’s Blended Malt, and White Heather Blended Scotch.
One of Scotland’s few independently owned and managed distilleries, The GlenAllachie, is led by industry veteran Billy Walker, who has over fifty years of experience in whisky making.
