Starting life from very humble beginnings in the heart of Bradford, Regal Food started its journey by baking a small selection of south Asian bakery products for convenience stores in the north of England. Fast forward 20+ years and Regal Food Products Groups is now a multimillion-pound company hosting an impressive portfolio of food and drink brands which are distributed through the retail and food service sector, throughout the UK and to over 50 countries around the world.

Regal Foods specialise in manufacturing over 400 world food and mainstream products. From bakery classics such as cakes, pastries and biscuits, to juices, tea and savoury snacks. Using its own distribution network and its 30+ trucks, Regal service over 3,000 retail outlets in the UK including major outlets such as Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsburys, alongside convenience stores and wholesale outlets such as Bestway.

In 2023 Regal was awarded a Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for International Trade for its services to exporting British made food and drink.

In 2007 another firm household favourite was born at Regal, the Yorkshire Baking Company. Baking a range of Yorkshire cakes and the famous Mega Loaf. The range has become a well-loved fixture on the cake aisle in Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsburys stores.

Both Regal and Yorkshire Baking rank within the top 20 UK cake brands.

With the aim of adding to its portfolio of bakery brands the Regal Group more recently acquired Just Desserts Yorkshire – a artisanal desserts manufacturer and Love Handmade Cakes – a bakery specialising in wholesale cakes, traybakes and food to go.
