Welcome to the world of the Filo-sophers! Α world created with care and passion, where the purest ingredients blend with
tradition and innovation. We offer unique flavors with the evolution of nutritional values as a major tool to do it.
Pies (pita in Greek), were made in antiquity. The ancient Greeks, who were the first to write down food recipes, inform
us that pies were served during symposiums. What characterizes a traditional Greek pie is its filo-sheets undoubtedly
made of fresh homemade ingredients. Different processes are carried out to give each pastry-sheet a different texture;

sometimes thick, rich and crumbly and sometimes thin and translucent. There are pies made with a large number of filo-
sheets, layered one on top of the other and filled with scrumptious ingredients. There are other ones that with a simple

semi-liquid mixture of flour and other tasteful ingredients, replace the usual top and bottom usage of filo-sheets.
In the Greek traditional cuisine you may find many different types of pie and this, because each region in Greece has a
reference point, its own traditional pie. Sometimes they are the main appetizer or a tasty and healthy snack during the
day!
So, Filosophy do it, and we offer delicious pies all over the world. We know that it’s not so convenient for a modern family
to select the best ingredients like authentic Greek feta P.D.O., Greek fresh spinach etc. to make filo*, prepare fillings, and
try the recipe again and again improving it with each attempt. Because, when it comes to testing the results, we are as
strict as the most traditional Greek grandmother!
We use the finest of ingredients to make the most inspiring recipes and the end result is an incredibly tasty line of high
quality filo* pastry products that suit different dietary habits and are a new experience. However, our Filosophy never
stops expanding and containing new recipes like plant-based pies collaborating with the biggest market leaders, like
Beyond Meat creating plant – based, pies, pizzas and mini pies in order to fulfill the new consumption habits.
