FPC is owned by its growing membership of around 700 businesses, including retailers, distributors, importers, wholesalers, processors, packers, and food service operators. We also represent freight handlers, port authorities, Embassies, laboratories, business solution providers, lawyers, packaging manufacturers, recruitment agencies, and trade media.

We advocate for our members, engaging with legislators and regulators to influence industry affairs, including Brexit. We provide expert advice on regulatory and technical issues through publications offering practical guidance. While much of our work happens behind the scenes, it delivers real benefits to daily trading.

FPC also organise industry events, site visits, and workshops to promote education and discussion. We host the annual Fresh Awards ceremony and publish two online publications, FreshTalk Daily and Agritech Future.
