Recker Convenience was a classic medium-sized, privately owned company that was 100% family-owned (Recker family). As there were no successors, the company was sold to the “Group of Butchers” in the Netherlands on 01.01.2022.

Recker Convenience specializes in the production of schnitzel and cordon bleu products made from pork, in various convenience qualities, exclusively deep-frozen. Our company brand “Die Schnitzelmacher” is intended to verbalize exactly that. Recker currently sells its products in retail outlets and discount stores under its own brand and under retailers' own brands (private label).

Another business segment for Recker is wholesale and the food service market. The export share is around 5% (including Scandinavia, Italy, Benelux and the UK). 

Recker sees itself as a specialist and is happy to respond to customer-specific requests.

The company currently employs around 250 people. The production facility was built in 2008 and put into operation at the beginning of 2009. In 2019, the production capacity was increased to 13,000 mt per year.

Due to the positive overall development, the decision was made two years ago to expand the plant by an additional 5,000 mt per year. This expansion will be completed in the second half of 2025.

The production lines are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and cooking levels. Continuous investments are also made in the areas of deep-freeze storage, packaging, order picking and energy management. The plant is IFS (higher level) certified.

Recker's annual turnover in 2024 will be around €76 million and around €80 million is planned for 2025.
