AMK, the brainchild of Ranjith Attanayake, who in his formative years majored in Agricultural machinery in Japan was inspired in 1989 to provide a service to bring a little bit of home to the many Sri Lankan expatriates and this was the beginning of AMK FOOD EXPORT (PVT) LTD.
Our definition begins with real food: food made with simple, environmentally friendly ingredients; crafted with care using ethical sourcing, supported by an experienced team educated both here and abroad, and maintaining sustainable practices; food that's safe, delicious and available at a fair price - all three without compromise.
Over the last ten years, we have made significant growth of transforming our portfolio towards a healthier future. We chose this path because we recognized the dramatic changes taking place in our industry and that real and healthier food was better for our consumers and better for our business.
With a heritage of over 30 years in providing safe and simple foods that are affordable and accessible, we now export to countries including US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to mention a few. Our brands have and will continue to play an important role in "The moments that matter" in peoples' lives.
