Introducing ECOJFOOD’s symbol, the Piggy bread.
* Jeju Udo peanut Black Piggy Bread and Jeju Hallabong Golden Piggy Bread. Adding a taste of Jeju to premium desserts.
- Black pigs are popular in Jeju and have become a symbol of Jeju. These black pigs were the motivation behind the shape of the “piggy breads”. Locally grown ingredients were also added, giving the product more meaning in terms of being a local food.
Pigs symbolize wealth and good fortune in Korea, and giving Piggy Breads as gifts is highly recommended. The original name is Black Piggy Bread and Golden Piggy Bread.
Ecojfood is HACCP certified in confectionery and baking. All employees are also educated regarding HACCP practices and hygiene management so that only the highest quality, clean foods are provided to the customers.
1. Jeju Udo Peanut Black Piggy Bread
One of Ecojfood’s signature products, Black Piggy Bread is a combination of a soft and moist chocolate brownie and Jeju’s Udo peanuts. The Udo peanuts add a great nutty flavor and crunchy texture that goes extremely well with brownies.
2. Jeju Hallabong Golden Piggy Bread
Another Ecojfood specialty, Golden Piggy Bread is a variation of financier, a premium French dessert. The deep taste of Jeju’s Hallabong is a perfect match for the light and moist financier.
