Mathieson’s was established in 1872 supplying its own retail shops throughout central Scotland, originally the company was owned by the Mathieson's family and predominately manufactured traditional Scottish cakes and was renowned throughout Scotland for their high quality .
Fast forward to today and we no longer have any shops, we now produce for retailers in both retail own brand and our own brand. We have over 145 years of manufacturing innovative products for the bakery market from our BRC acredited site in Larbert, Central Scotland.
At our site we have 3 seperate units under one roof - high care, bakery & dedicated nut and yeast area. From these areas we produce a range of products from fresh cream tarts, patisserie style cake slices to seasonal stollen.
